This project has been developed thanks to the invitation of the Spanish Embassy in Quito,
and thanks to Mundo Juvenil, they gave to many collectives the chance to share energies for a common wealth project. The activities
were developed by four collectives as: Tranvía Cero (Ecuador), Al Borde (Ecuador), Makea Tu Vida (Spain) and obviously Recetas
During ten days we designed and built the first children's library in Ecuador, using recycled furniture to equip a more than 200m2
Starting from a very incoherent assortments of used materials and elements such as bouncy castle, metallic structures with different sizes
and shapes, plenty of left-over fabri, easels, blackboards, chairs, wires, pallets, wheels etc. Everything helped to accommodate the initial
space to the use requirements, such as constructing more than thirty five solutions of furniture and storage.
The project, designed jointly by almost thirty people, became an amount of different ideas, developed through the generosity and the respect due in a collective process, in this case the children were just the users of this small world created by adults.
